FCC celebrated it’s first birthday in style with a sell-out show at Bolton’s Reebok stadium, with over 2,000 fans in attendance.

In the evening’s main event, Ali Arish edged Matt Inman in a very close three-round professional bout. Inman was in the fight until the final bell, but Arish’s relentless takedowns saw him creep ahead on two of the three judges’ scorecards for a split decision. Brett McDermott survived a tough first round with AJ Akande to score a TKO stoppage in the second round of his second FCC light heavyweight title defence. Elsewhere on the card, Martin Chester secured a third round guillotine choke on Nick Leaning to capture the vacant FCC lightweight title, while Ant Bailey defeated Matt Hopkins by stunning 4th round KO to win the vacant FCC middleweight title.
