Hi guys, we have reached that time of the month again! It is my pleasure to introduce ring-girl and dancer, Alina Lamb, who is The MMA Review’s March “Babe of the Month”!!! Enjoy!

Jay Cee: Hi Alina, I am really glad to have you here on themmareview.co.uk as our March “Babe Of The Month”! Tell me how you are doing? and how it feels to be an MMA Review Babe?

Alina: I’m great thanks, excited about being “Babe of the Month”!!

Jay Cee: Tell me about some of the MMA promotions you have worked at in the past? Also, you are part of the “Icis Agency” team, tell me how that all came about? and what it is like working with Dionne Vincent?

Alina: It’s wicked working with Dionne, she is a great friend and manager! I first got to know her a few years ago when she was a ring girl and starting up her agency. I was dancing part-time with a dance group, we just clicked and had a great time. We have kept in touch and worked on a few things since. I have been involved in some amazing charity work she has organised as well as some photo shoots and of course being a ring girl. Her energy, ideas and organisation is amazing, I don’t know how she does it all!

Jay Cee: I saw you in action at Ultimate Impact Cagefighting 9 in Cheltenham. You did a great job and It was a fantastic night of fights. Which fighter did you most enjoy accompanying to the cage?

Picture 21 The MMA Review Babe of the Month for March 2013: Alina LambAlina: I don’t know if there was any specific fighter I enjoyed accompanying the most…they are all so focused and in the zone. I just try to be professional and get the crowd going to support them. I find it fun though, hearing all there different types of entrance music they pick, it makes me wonder what my ‘theme tune’ would be? Hehe!

Jay Cee: How did you first get into being a ring-girl? and what is your favorite thing about the job?

Alina: I have only just got into it really. I did a photo shoot with Icis Agency and Dionne asked me to come on board more….as I said before, I have done a few dance routines for entertainment in the breaks, but this was my first major ring girl job! so thanks to you all for supporting me and making me “Babe of the Month” after my debut!!!

Jay Cee: It must be quite exciting to meet new people all the time including the fans and fighters. Do you have any funny stories or a memorable moment from an event that you can share with us?

Alina: I love it, the cheer of the crowd, the flash of the cameras, the action and suspense of the fight! It’s great working with everyone and making new friends. Funny stories? um not really yet, but I went to a after party with a few mates in Bristol as my friend Scott Richards was fighting. It was around Halloween but no one was dressed up….until one guy came in dressed as the gingerbread man from Shrek!!! was quite funny!

Jay Cee: Outside of being a ring-girl are you an actual fan of MMA? If so, who is your favorite fighter?

Alina: I must admit if you asked me a year ago I never really liked the idea of watching a fight, but I’m converted, siting there ring-side is exciting, tense stuff! I can not wait to work again. Favorite fighter?!  the Frank Fellows and Will Stevenson fight was amazing! But I love watching my mate Scott Richards fight, he is a Thai fighter and also does MMA.

Jay Cee: I have been asked by quite a few female readers how they could become ring girls. What advice would you give to any young women looking to get into that line of work?

Alina: Be confident, get some photos done and practice strutting you thing! Get in touch with a great agency like Icis Agency and then take it from there!

Jay Cee: Tell me a bit about what else you do outside of being a ring girl Alina? I have seen some amazing pictures of you, is modelling something you do full-time or just something on the side?

Alina: My main job is a Professional Dancer. I trained since I was three!!! I used to work abroad on cruise ships around the med and the Caribbean, America and Mexico, in Macau, Korea, Portugal and Croatia in Casinos and Theaters. I have also worked in Paris at the Moulin Rouge, incredible job, but hardcore Can Can! Since coming back to the UK I still dance but I mainly teach and choreograph now. I have done some TV work and a bit of modeling, but it is some thing I would love to get into more……any job offers?

Jay Cee: What would you say is your best asset body-wise?

Alina: Judging from the pics everyone put on Facebook from Ultimate Impact Cagefighting 9 in Cheltenham…I think my bum!!

Jay Cee: Describe yourself in three words?

    Alina: Legs, Legs and Legs!

Jay Cee: Great, well that about wraps it up Alina. Thanks again for taking some time out to be our March “Babe Of The Month” and good luck for the future! I really enjoyed it, I hope you did too!? Please feel free to do some shout-outs etc.

Alina: Shout out the the amazing Dionne and all the great girls at Icis Agency (www.icisagency.com). West 172 Photography and Short & Round’s photography for the pics, and the all the fans who come to watch and support MMA!
