Ultimate Impact Events will soon be holding Ultimate Impact Fight Night 1, which takes place at Liquid Nightclub in Gloucester, England, on August 10th. In the main event Mario Saeed (4-1) will take on Wayne Drake (2-0) in a lightweight showdown.

Also on the card, Will Wride faces Shane Riley in a welterweight matchup, Tom Congdon takes on Ben Phillips and Zoe Card will square off against Toyah Chapman in a 60Kg women’s K1 bout.

Tickets for the event start at £25 and can be purchased by visiting: www.ultimateimpactevents.com - Doors open at 5 p.m., and the first fight will start at 6 p.m.

Up and coming lightweight prospect Mario Saeed is currently riding a three fight winning streak, most recently defeating Leon Rosser via second round submission at UIC 9 in February. Prior to that he scored a first round submission victory over Shane Riley at PPFN 5 in November 2012, and picked up a first round submission win over Sean May in August 2012. Saeed now has the chance to extend his winning streak to four with a good performance against Wayne.

Wayne Drake last fought at AMMA FC 14 in December 2012, where he scored a first round submission victory over Pindi Madahar. Prior to that he defeated Jason Jenkins via unanimous decision at UIC 4 in April 2011. After a seven month lay-off Drake will no doubt look to remain undefeated by picking up a big win over Saeed on August 10th.
