28 January 2013: This February, Extreme Sports Channel premieres the ultimate in British Mixed Martial Arts.

British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA) is Europe’s leading MMA organisation, boasting an impressive international roster of established and up-and-coming fighters including Jack “Hammer” Marshman, Rob Sinclair, Stevie Ray and Tom Breese.

Held at various arenas around the UK – including the Birmingham NIA, Nottingham’s Capital FM Arena and London’s Wembley Arena – the hottest talent and championship fighters make up the star studded cards that attract an army of dedicated fans willing to fight it out for an arena seat at BAMMA’s award winning MMA events. ESC brings these events to UK viewers every night from 4th February until 14 February inclusive.

Weekday premieres air next month from cards 4-11. Kicking off the MMA marathon is the much talked about BAMMA 4, headlined by Alex Reid vs. Tom Watson. The event had the full capacity crowd hugely excited and caught the attention of the mainstream media due to Alex Reid’s celebrity status. With Reid contending in a bid to prove his dedication to the sport against BAMMA World Middleweight Champion, Tom Watson – who has since signed with the UFC – BAMMA 4 proved to be a gruelling and engaging battle.

Later cards (5-11) include action-packed headliners: Daley vs. Shira, Watson vs. Rua, Wallhead vs. Trigg, Manuwa vs. Rea, Watson vs. Marshman, Sinclair vs. Winner and Marshman vs. Foupa-Pokam.
