The launch of the new MMA apparel was recently announced via official press release.

The new branded T-Shirts are available in black and white, they can be purchased from www.impactlpa.com for £12.50 each. Impact LPA has generously pledged to donate all profits generated from the sale of all Safe MMA apparel to a fund for fighters needing financial assistance with Safe MMA registration fees.

For those of you who are not aware, Safe MMA is a not-for-profit organisation that was created to improve the safety of MMA fighters in the UK. All pro fighters wanting to fight on a Safe MMA show or event will need a Safe MMA membership, which requires all fighters to undergo 6 monthly blood tests, annual GP medicals, pre- and post fight medicals and to uphold medically advised suspensions. All medical results will be stored in a confidential, medical database housed at the Centre of Health and Human Performance at 76 Harley St., London.

Here is what Safe MMA PR, Izzy Carnwath, had to say:

“I speak on behalf of all of Safe MMA in thanking Impact LPA for their support of the project. We are all aware that some fighters may be experiencing hardship and may not be in a position to cover their fees, particularly if it’s a first fight. While the annual registration fee is set at a rate that should be easily covered by one fight, there are always exceptional circumstances. We are striving to make Safe MMA accessible to all MMA fighters who value their health and who respect that of their opponents. Everyone at Safe MMA appreciates Impact LPA’s huge generosity in putting money into supporting fighter safety and UK MMA.”

Impact LPA is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable MMA brands on the U.K. scene. Working with many different fighters and personalities within the industry they have built a solid reputation for providing quality MMA sports products for athletes and MMA fans across the country. Their partnership with Safe MMA will definitely help to raise awareness for the organisation.

Here is what Commercial Director and Owner of Impact LPA, Ross Laurence, had to say:

“It’s an honour to be a part of Safe MMA and it is a great opportunity to get involved in helping make the sport safer. We have the chance to educate the general public about what a great sport MMA is. Promoting safety inside and outside the cage is key for legitimising the sport in the UK and Safe MMA is the first step in replicating the regulatory bodies in place around the rest of world.”
